Robotype
Humans use letters, which are two-dimensional static symbols, for communication. Writing these letters requires body movement as well as spending a certain amount of time; therefore, it can be demonstrated that a letter is a trajectory of movement and time. Based on this notion, I conducted studies regarding multidimensional kinetic typography, primarily using robots to display a letter and visualize its time and movement simultaneously.
私たちはコミュニケーションのために文字を使います。文字は二次元に静止する記号ですが、文字を書くために私たちは体を動かし時間を費やします。よって文字とは、そもそも多次元的なのではないでしょうか？この気づきをもとに、主にロボット機構と奥行きの錯視を利用し、新しいキネティックタイポグラフィーを探求しました。
